The Role

In this position you will be the key point of contact for designated key accounts within the hotel sector.  In addition to retaining and account managing suppliers you will also be responsible for contracting and establishing new relationships.  In addition you will negotiate hotel room rates and be savvy in revenue management and how operations work within hotels.

Management reporting and working in a targeted environment is a vital part of this role as well as being able to manage your own time effectively.

Requirement

You must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to show strong negotiation sills.  Contacts with the travel and leisure sector a distinct advantage and being able to understand how hotels operate would also be desirable.

 

Regional Sales Director in the Travel Industry located in Hong Kong

The Role

This role is responsible for leading, developing and motivating a sales team of 15 across APAC. In addition you will put into practice effecting pricing, tariffing and revenue management, with the main objective of winning market share around the region.  Implementing sales strategies among the team and increasing distribution levels is a paramount in this position.

Contributing to retaining accounts and acquiring new relationships among the travel trade through effective account management and targeted sales approached is key.

In addition you will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide a consistent approach to the market.

Travelling on a regular basis within APAC will be expected to manage the sales teams effectively and to attend key customer meetings.

Requirement

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing sales team effectively and can clearly show results. In addition you should have a background in online B2B sales experience with strong knowledge of travel distribution.

Head of Development in the IT Industry located in Hong Kong

The client is based in Europe but will have an Asian office in central Hong Kong targets opening by end of Q1 2013. As a new and growing team you will be charged with product innovation as well as in depth technical domain management. The target demographic of the client’s userbase is generation Y. The applications currently available are for iphone, Blackberry and Android and you will also be tasked with broadening their offering.

Requirement

You will have extensive domain knowledge of iphone, android applications, ideally coming from a games development background. You will have managed teams of 10-12 developers, with 1-5 years’ experience either inhouse or offshore environment.

The Role

In this position you will manage and implement the PR plans on a local and regional level.  Working in collaborating with other marketeers within the department, you will also ensure that social media activity is used as part of the communication tools to the media.  Setting up interviews, being the spokes person for the company and also establishing positive rapport with the key trade media within travel is key.

You keep up to date with industry and competitor information and also research speaking opportunities within key events around Asia for Senior Directors.

The Candidate

You will have had over 4 years PR experience in a regional capacity.  Travel media contacts are desirable and a knowledge of the travel industry would assist greatly in this role.  Fluent in English and the Chinese language.  Excellent understanding of social media communication tools.

 

Player Development Manager (Casino / Entertainment) Shanghai

The Client

Is a leading tour operator within Europe that has recently increased their presence in Asia and have rapid expansion plans.  They are becoming a major player with their casino offering and are keen to growth this market further.

The Role

This position is tasked with generating incremental casino revenue for the business from the China region.  You will be tasked with recruiting new premium players to the brand, and also look into marketing and sales activity to increase existing visitor attendance.  Growing and maintaining the ‘Premium Players’ database and managing the lifecycle is key to this position, identifying new products and implementing effective marketing strategies as well as developing a new customer pipeline are all part of this role.

In addition you will work alongside the operations team to ensure that those customer interfacing with the Premium Players are representing the brand in the correct manner.  You will make recommendations and champion new re-investment strategies and promotional activities that will stimulate and return new business from high end customers.

The candidate

  • Experience in customer facing role in casino, hospitality entertainment or related industry.
  • Must show evidence of working with high end / VIP / high net worth individuals or regular casino players.

Regional Director (Airlines) Shanghai based.

The Client

Is a leading provider of airline solutions within Asia.

The Role

This is a senior position to act as the Chief Representative of the company in China.  You will manage a team of 4 Account Managers, interface with key government bodies, develop strong relationships with the airlines in the China region with the objective of increasing sales and revenue, new and existing.

In addition you will seek partnership opportunities with various organisations to increase brand awareness and sales revenue.  Being able to provide a high level of customer service at all times is key, not only mentoring the team but also being able to train the team on some of the technical areas of the proposition.

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Show evidence of working alongside or within the airline sector in the China region
  • Good understanding of aviation and government bodies in China
